音楽クリエイター「john」による、作詞/作曲/編曲/歌唱/イラスト/映像を始めとした様々なクリエイティブ活動を手がけるソロプロジェクト「TOOBOE」。特徴的な声とキャッチーで癖になる楽曲で、現代の音楽におけるネットシーンとJ-Popを横断的に行き来し表現するマルチアーティスト。
2022年4月に1stシングル「心臓」を配信リリースしてメジャーデビューし、「心臓」のミュージックビデオは自身最速でYouTube再生回数1000万回を突破。2022年11月にリリースした「錠剤」はTVアニメ『チェンソーマン』第4話エンディングテーマとして起用され、話題となった。
